Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas Gets Her First Sea Legs

Oasis of the Seas is set to launch in December 2009 with alternating 7 night Eastern/Western Caribbean itineraries from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

R.E. Thompson Travel Services - Featured Travel Blogger

Robert E. Thompson, IV, owner and operator of R.E. Thompson Services, started Etcetera Technology Services in his hometown of Albany, Georgia in 1998 creating web sites for retail business clients. Client needs spread into printing needs and the company was renamed R.E. Thompson Technical Services and moved to Americus, Georgia.

After graduating from Georgia Southwestern State University, Robert relocated to Smyrna, Georgia in 2003 where he works as a systems analyst for a wholesale mortgage company full time. After relocating to Smyrna, he earned his master of science degree in information technology from Southern Polytechnic State University in 2006.

Requests from friends and family to consult on travel plans prompted Robert to introduce full travel services through partnerships with GTM Travel Group and Millstream Travel. Robert continues to personally operate R.E. Thompson Services from his home in Marietta, Georgia.
